Gewählt was founded in 2018 by Lucas Oliveira and Andres Torres in Chicago, Illinois. Both Lucas and Andres went through the immigration process themselves and they saw how the industry lacked client-centric services, especially from people who could understand the complexity and emotional weight of the immigration journey. They saw firsthand how important and life-changing this process is. Based on this, they created Gewählt to provide a supportive and informed pathway for others to follow in their footsteps.

Lucas Oliveira, Partner

Lucas Oliveira is the head of Gewählt Consulting. He started his education and career in Finance, having worked for major corporations, such as Deloitte. After his immigration process from Brazil to the U.S., Lucas realized how he could transfer his skills and process-oriented abilities to the immigration industry. He started to draft professional and business plans for people who were looking to immigrate to the U.S. Later on, he started providing educational mentorship for those pursuing the EB visa category.

Bruna Danquimaia

Bruna is the Project Manager at Gewählt Consulting. She holds a degree in Executive Trilingual Secretariat and a postgraduate degree in Leadership and Human Development. With over 12 years of experience in multinational companies across various sectors, Bruna brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Fernanda Vitarelli

Fernanda Vitarelli is a Legal Writer at Gewählt Consulting, bringing over 15 years of expertise in Legal English. As a Brazilian lawyer with a degree in English as a Second Language, Translation, and Interpretation, she has developed a deep understanding of legal terminology and its practical applications. Fernanda has conducted numerous workshops on Legal English and has provided specialized services to District Attorneys across the United States. She now applies her extensive skills to Gewählt Consulting, enhancing the firm’s ability to address complex legal language needs
